Moment — a Zoom App by

Moment is a Zoom App that captures screenshots during meetings, triggered by emoji reactions, participant count peaks, or manual clicks. This policy explains what data Moment accesses, how it is used, and where it is stored.
When you use Moment during a Zoom meeting, the app accesses the following information through the Zoom Apps SDK:
Moment uses the zoomapp:inmeeting OAuth scope to read meeting context, detect reactions, and observe participant changes.
The data accessed by Moment is used solely to:
We do not use your data for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than the core functionality described above.
All screenshots and associated metadata are saved locally on your
computer in the ~/Moment/ folder via a local companion CLI tool.
Nothing is uploaded to cloud services or external servers operated by us or any
third party.
Because your data never leaves your machine, you have full control over it. You can view, move, or delete your files at any time.
Moment does not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. The app communicates only with the Zoom client through the Zoom Apps SDK. No external APIs, analytics services, or advertising networks are used.
Moment does not use cookies, local storage tokens, analytics scripts, or any form of tracking technology.
Since all data remains on your local machine, security depends on your own device protections (disk encryption, OS-level access controls, etc.). We recommend keeping your operating system and Zoom client up to date.
Moment is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Moment after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
